About us

Nomad Sydney started in Surry Hills in 2013, and was quickly recognised as a restaurant that is convivial, relaxed and fun.  The space boasts a bustling dining room, with food focusing on cooking over fire, an excellent wine and cocktail list, and refined service.

In 2021, NOMAD Melbourne on Flinders Lane, a longed for dream for the Group, opened its doors. With a smaller dining room, and a strong nod to the Melbourne dining scene, this venue has quickly become a local CBD favourite.

Two years later, the group expanded to include Reine & La Rue in the iconic Cathedral Room at the corner of Queen and Collins in Melbourne’s CBD.

We started with one restaurant in 2013. Since then, with a fire, and a restaurant that didn’t land as we intended, we have opened 6 restaurants.

 

What we have learnt and achieved over the last 12 years now puts us in a position to grow with a team who are committed to our vision of what it means to be in hospitality today.

 

For us that is sustainability – from our people to our produce, excellence and grace.
